HEY LADY.....THERE'S A MOOSE IN YOUR HOUSE.

OUR MOOSE.......He's from 1912...he appears to have died with a smile on his face. We found him at the Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta.....I know he's dusty, it's hard to dust a dead moose!

My Uncle Ray's old oak icebox....we took out the wood in the door and replaced it with glass.

A very cozy room when the stove is fired up...

original Pennsylvania calendar prints circa 1950's.......nine of them hang on our great room wall.

The fall mantel....the New Jersey license plate was the prototype for their Barnegat Lighthouse issue....The initials just happen to be mine. Husband got it for me on E-Bay...

our pumpkins.....

View from Above.....

My favorite wall in the house....lots of memories....

Kitchen stuff....and stuff and more stuff.......

Copper Pots!

used every day.....polished every time....

my favorite cookie jar of all time.....

Vintage Howard Johnson's diner china.....another E-Bay find.....I have more diner china then you can count....I could feed an army.

the cute little bedroom upstairs...

My shrine to the lady in the Harbor....

You know there had to be something from the Mother-land....

a willow chaise in my sewing room.....water colors framed above were done by daughter when she was a child......

Books....books and more books....

And last but not least.....Yes, we have "The Kramer"......

Hope you enjoyed the tour....

I did enjoy the tour! The Kramer is too funny! You really use your copper pots and clean them every day! That's amazing.... Love the moose head, yes I imagine that would be hard to clean. I suppose he would need to be vacuumed? You have so much cool stuff to see. I love all the china. I'm crazy about china and would have a ton if I only had some place to put it all! So do show your other dishes sometime. That was a lot of fun!

I am so happy to "meet" another Jersey Girl!! Thank you for your super sweet message on my blog. I'm happy we found each other!

OK -- I have a Statue of Liberty shrine (all from eBay -- we've probably bid against each other, LOL!) and I recently put that NJ pillow on my Christmas wish list (so hopefully Santa reads your blog, too ;-). Needless to say, I love this post and your blog.

The Jersey Shore is still hopping, despit the dropping temperatures. I just went on a haunted tour on the Asburty Park boardwalk. It was a total hoot, and bound to be a blog post this week if I can tear away from my busy work schedule.

I'll be back here, for sure!
