It's that time of year again when the
Queen of all things Christmas
throws her annual Holiday Luncheon
This year was the "Ugly Sweater Party"
But the stars of the day were
Rose's Handmade Santas.....
This year would be lot's of Ugly Sweaters... On the table and on us lucky to be invited... |
Nothing is left un-decorated... |
Here is our lovely Hostess.... and none other then Joyce.... ex-Blogger of "Flour Power" fame... |
when I say everything is decorated..... everything is decorated... every inch... |
And here is one of her Fabulous creations... For those of you who have never seen these before... Rose makes everything you see... from the body to the clothing... to the hand painted faces... |
they are very large.... probably around 3 feet tall or more... the ornaments come from Rose's imagination.... she collects things all through the year every where she goes... |
Santa's are not her only talent... the Lady can decorate.... She collects blue and white ware.... It's everywhere and it's Gorgeous!! |
The tree if filled with all Santa ornaments.. |
The Dining Room.... |
Rose made this wreath from vintage Christmas ornaments found online and at thrift stores... |
She's a milk glass collector too! |
We all got party favors..... Found at the Dollar Tree... there is a container attached to the grater that was filled with candy.... The card reads... "To A Grate Friend Merry Christmas" |
Can you see the miniature Sled inside the Lantern... |

Hey Sue! Thanks for the tour of Rose's home beautiful home...it looks like something that should be in a magazine. Her Santas are nothing short of amazing! I do miss her blogging.
Have a great week.
Beautiful doesn't seem to be enough. Rose's attention to every single detail is so impressive and her use of space is incredible. Being able to showcase collections so artistically is such a gift. Thank you for sharing such beautiful photos.
What a beautiful home. It's a gift to be able to decorate with so much and not have it look cluttered.
I miss Rose -- so glad you give us a report every Christmas. We didn't see your ugly sweater; I bet it was a beauty!!!!! Sally
Sue- Oh- I wish I had known her when she was blogging. What a delightful home and what a wonderful party. I bet it was magical to be there.
I am sure that sweater won!!!! xo Diana
Sue...thank you so much for coming to the party and indulging me with the ugly Christmas sweater theme! Even though after a couple of hot flashes I was ready to pass out from wearing the sweater..I would have turned the AC on but didn't want to freeze out the guests.. Your appetizer was so delicious and addictive. I am so flattered that you honor me with my own blog post and photographing my work and decorating. I enjoyed every minute of it. I hope to see you before next Christmas party..hahaha
Wow, Rose is one talented lady! She used to blog? Wish she would come back! Her Santas are beautiful. I assume she does not psell them?

How beautiful, and what a flair for decorating! Gorgeous Santas! Linda's sweater is unique and how could it not win a prize!
Wow, Rose is an amazing woman and so is her home. I'd love to see her attic; I bet she has it all organized for storage of all these wonderful Christmas decorations. That is a fun idea to have an 'ugly sweater' theme because there are some very unique Christmas sweaters out there to choose from!
Rose's santas are truly works of art! Next year I wish you'd do a post showing how she makes them. All of her decorations are beautiful too. I really like the new sunroom!
