The cake looks delicious, and the table so purty! I have a tiara pan from many moons ago, Duncan Hines gave it when you bought their specialty cakes. Just like a Maryanne pan.
Menu sounds great!
Magic cake! I'll have to try your recipe. Though I am disappointed that you didn't use the Duff Goldman camo cake - they do make a pink one - you could have added a bit of strawberry flavoring ! My friend actually made one of the camo cakes for a cake auction. She decorated it with an Army "A" - I think you had to guess the kind of cake inside.
Lovely table. You must send me the recipe for the cheese bread - out was to die for.
Your table is gorgeous with all the mixing and matching. :)
Love your flowers, love your red and white pitcher, the Ikea bowl, the strawberry dessert...I love it all! Why wasn't I invited? ;-)
Sue- I'll be over there to eat sometime soon! You always do SUCH a nice job. I love those dishes-aren't they perfect for this time of year?
Your cake looks great!!!! I love how sunny and bright your kitchen table looks- xo Diana
That cake looks amazing! What a pretty table setting!
Everything looked beautiful...those are the perfect summer dishes!! Reading what you served for lunch made my mouth water!!
Your table looked great. And that cake, it must have been delicious. I used to have that type of pan, but I don't know what happened to it. Must start looking.
Oh, the thought and energy you put into this! Perfect! Meant to tell you, I love your garden, too. You're adapting to southern life quite nicely. (Okra and stewed tomatoes? OMG! Only the natives dare to go there. :) )
I've never heard of a Mary Ann cake pan. I wish you hadn't told me about it. My car may insist that I head for Williams-Sonoma the next time I go anywhere.
LOL! You CAN have too many dishes! I have them in the attic, have them in the garage. Most I inherited. Don't have any fun ones like you do.
Diet cake!? Sign me up! Lol, it look and sounds delicious Sue. I love your table, I have adored those dishes since the first time I saw them and the menu sounds soooo good! It sounds like it was a great evening.
Cheery table...♥ it. I want a huge piece of that delicious looking cake...screw the diet!
Your table is so full of fun color. And yes indeed, I'd love seconds on that cake!
