WILLIAMS-SONOMA PASTA BOWLS!!!!

I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of all things "Bowls"
I am a Bowl Junkie.....I have so many bowls that I could feed that Army that you always hear
about.....
So when I saw that my very favorite store of all time.....
Williams Sonoma had new bowls to be bought....well I packed up the Boss in the car
and off we went......in a snow storm.......Hey...........I love a good bowl.
These just aren't bowls......these are BOWLS.....
If ever there was a bowl that you just had to have this is it.....
Called the Pantry Soup/Pasta bowl it retails for $39. for 6 .........
I would have come home with 12 but I had to buy the floor models without the box
and all they had left were 6.....
While I was shopping 2 other ladies came in asking for them and were very disappointed that
I had scored the last 6.....
They are just the right depth.....just the right size for a nice big bowl of pasta.....
or anything really....they have a beautiful glaze and are nice and heavy....
I am in LOVE!!!
They also have dinner plates and little bowls......and great looking mugs.....

See....aren't these mugs great looking......
We spent way to much money by the time we were finished....the Boss just kept finding
good stuff that I just couldn't pass up.....
They also have beautiful copper molds on sale for half off ..........
So while all the husbands are home watching football this weekend
get on over to your local WS and BUY SOME BOWLS......
You will tell yourself that you just have to have 12.....
They ofcourse are also available through their catalog and website....
and I didn't think they would mind me using their pictures...

I adore white dishes and these are fabulous. They would have been so perfect with the stew we had for dinner in them. Your beef and barley soup sounds delish. I make something similar but I'll be trying it with short ribs instead of round steak next time I cook it. Try and stay warm. Mimi

I'll wait till they arrive at the outlet, but it will take awhile..)
Enjoy them, Sue..

I love white dishes too. Several years ago in NYC, I spotted some basic white plates at Crate and Barrel... $4 each. They also had beautiful big clear glass wine and pilsner footed glasses... $2. Couldn't carry them home on the plane, so when I got home I placed an order for 24 of each. I don't use them every day, but when I get around to having company I invite a crowd, usually family. I'd love to have some bowls too; then we could have everyone bring a different soup. WS has good sales. The ones you scored are great, but don't think I can afford 24 right now... gotta save up to pay the heat bill!

Those are nice bowls! I am starting to replace some of my dishes and these would make a nice addition. Did you see the new Pasta bowl set at Williams Sonoma too? Oh, they are gorgeous!

And OMG...the word verification wants me to enter in the word

Great bowls, Sue. I have some without a rim and these would be so much better. Guess I better get over to WS to check them out.

Good for you getting those bowls Sue-I am also a bowl freak, I don't know how many I have, and they don't match but I love a ceramic italian bowl, an asian bowl, an elegant white bowl....I might have to take a trip over to my local WS to see what's left!

I, too, love me some bowls. I have a whole collection of mismatched pottery ones...I tend to not be able to walk past a potter at a crafty sale without buying one.

These are great bowls!!! But if it's a dish: bowl, plate, cup, mug, saucer, serving piece, whatever, I can't resist!
