Don't faint - I made the peppermint bark candy. AND it turned out, it was easy, and it tastes yummy! Now I'm chilling some Oreo & cream cheese balls waiting to dip into some of those Wilton white candy disks. After 50 years of cooking, I'm finally venturing into the candy stuff. O.K., so it is the easy stuff - no thermomenter involved!!! Thanks for the encouragement. Sally
70ish Mom of a 45 year old lady lawyer, grams to an adorable 13 year old granddaughter better known as Miss "B"...New Grams to 3 year old Jack Horowitz. He's not fond of Grandma as he is always giving me the raspberries, but adores the Boss.....he's the worlds happiest Toddler. Wife of 50 years to the Boss and he has me spending most of my waking hours at the kitchen stove. We live for our next meal..I love to cook and I'm now into bread baking. I also love my bright red V.W. bug convertible.(my 7th one) I think it's the cutest car ever built! Originally from New Jersey I constantly complain about living in the South...Hey, there's no good pizza here!! And then there is my wacky blog name....Well it comes from the summer I spent in Paris with daughter...The Rue Mouffetard is the famous street where it's all about food...every kind of food is sold there that you can imagine....I shopped there everyday for all our meals...It was heaven!! We have lived in Georgia for 35 years but will always be a "Jersey Girl"...

Funny! I think I need to try your peppermint bark, it looks yummy. And fairly easy. Like that!
This is too funny. I wish I could send this to the gals in HR where I work, but I dare to say that they wouldn't see the humor.
