WEEKENDS IN PARIS........Local Color

Welcome back to our second installment of Weekends in Paris.....Along with the most magnificent architecture in the world and beautiful golden statues adorning the bridges there is also color to the extreme...from toy boats pushed around with sticks by the little children in all the gardens to the street vendors and the hues of fresh fruits and vegetables.......it's a photographers dream. Here are some glimpses while walking around the neighborhoods...The Red White and Blue...........of a different kind.

  2. Fabulous.. its sort of ironic that the carousel horse with its toothy grin is next to the adorable photo of your grand baby and her toothy grin ... she is far cuter ..

  10. Oh my...I'm loving this series!! I want to pack my bags and head to Paris. In my 8th grade yearbook, we had to submit a "what will you be" line to appear under out photos. Most kids were like, "I will be a nurse." "I will be an accountant." Mine was, "I will be a fashion designer, living in Paris and entertaining my American friends." HA! Well, a girl can dream...

  21. Hi Sue! This Jersey girl is originally a New York girl, but I've been in NJ for 22 years now! So I think I qualify.

We moved to Morris County -- my husband commuted to the West Side, so it was a better commute than Long Island!

Great pictures! I haven't been anywhere in France except Strasbourg! Great tour; I will be back!

Thanks for stopping in at That Old House. I love company. (It's why I need all the dishes! Hahahaha...)
