WEEKENDS IN PARIS........Local Color

Welcome back to our second installment of Weekends in Paris.....Along with the most magnificent architecture in the world and beautiful golden statues adorning the bridges there is also color to the extreme...from toy boats pushed around with sticks by the little children in all the gardens to the street vendors and the hues of fresh fruits and vegetables.......it's a photographers dream. Here are some glimpses while walking around the neighborhoods...The Red White and Blue...........of a different kind.

Fabulous.. its sort of ironic that the carousel horse with its toothy grin is next to the adorable photo of your grand baby and her toothy grin ... she is far cuter ..

Oh my...I'm loving this series!! I want to pack my bags and head to Paris. In my 8th grade yearbook, we had to submit a "what will you be" line to appear under out photos. Most kids were like, "I will be a nurse." "I will be an accountant." Mine was, "I will be a fashion designer, living in Paris and entertaining my American friends." HA! Well, a girl can dream...

Hi Sue! This Jersey girl is originally a New York girl, but I've been in NJ for 22 years now! So I think I qualify.

We moved to Morris County -- my husband commuted to the West Side, so it was a better commute than Long Island!

Great pictures! I haven't been anywhere in France except Strasbourg! Great tour; I will be back!

Thanks for stopping in at That Old House. I love company. (It's why I need all the dishes! Hahahaha...)

HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE.... CARS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE.... AND PEOPLE WALKING.... I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

TIME OUT..........................

In the best interest of my left hand I find it necessary to take a short break from blogging.......that nasty staph infection has refused to go away and with no signs of it improving I need to stop using the computer......every time I go online to type the finger resembles W.C. Fields nose.....not a good thing.....I hope I can return soon and catch up with my Weekends in Paris....but in the meantime...remember.....Don't garden without gloves!! See you all soon.....
