If your not a baker the word "simple" when referring to Popovers or Cream Puffs do not come to mind.... But they are and everyone who cooks or bakes...even a beginner..... should add these to your repertoire.... Start with a popover pan.....that is of course if your making popovers.....Cream puffs get baked on a regular cookie sheet. I purchased the one above at Ikea for a mere $9.99..... I love it because it's narrow and tall.... the popovers come perfect!!
If this recipe looks familiar to you I did a post on
the pan I use last March....But I have had so
many people ask me for this recipe I thought I would
do another post about how easy they are to make...

ReplyDeleteSue, I've never made popovers so I copied your recipe. First, I have to find a pan and there's no Ikea around here.
ReplyDeleteThese look like the perfect thing to serve on Easter morning - and I just happen to be going to the mainland next week, so can hit up IKEA for a pan. Printing this recipe.....thank you!
ReplyDeleteYum! Sounds good to me- way too good! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteYummy, but they aren't on my diet at the moment, Sue!
ReplyDeleteOkay now I have tasted one and let me say - delicious. Thank you so much for the recipe! I need to get a pan though. Bon Apetit!!

Aw, this was a very nice post. Finding the time and actual effort to produce a superb article… but what can I say…
ReplyDeleteI procrastinate a lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.

I used to make popovers a lot when my children lived home -- they loved them and they were so quick and easy to make. I love your recipe with the added ham and asiago cheese! They sound like they would make a delicious brunch item. Next time I visit IKEA I'll look fro that snazzy red pan!
