THE ULTIMATE COMPLIMENT.......

Just in Time for Valentine's Day the Boss gave me the
ultimate compliment the other day....
After 42 years of marriage.....
He said I looked like his
"Trophy Wife"....
It seems this is what happens when you lose
20 pounds and keep your hair dyed.....

And you all know how the Boss loves his
Taxidermy....so If I ever become missing...
Just have the police check out our Great Room Wall.....
I'll be hanging between the Deer Head and the Buffalo.....
And if I can lose another 15 pounds I might be seen
trolling the streets of NYC during the taping of Blue Bloods
to hunt this guy down.....Talk about a "trophy"
You know I had to get in Tom Selleck somewhere in this post....
The man is actually getting better looking with age....

What a wonderful compliment from The Boss. Aren't we lucky that we have husbands that still feel that way after all these years?

And yes, Tom Selleck is still a hunk. In his Magnum days, my mom always said that she thought that his craggy good looks might not age well, but damn, he proved her wrong. And if you are interested in trolling for him, sign me up for the hunt.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

Who doesn't love "House Hunters".....you get to sit back and see inside people's homes....you get to see different style houses in different parts of the country and the best part......how the houses are decorated.....It's virtual house shopping......Well me and the Boss have turned this into an art... Not by choice......it has just happened.... We live in Atlanta but as everyone knows we would love to move back to the "Motherland" New Jersey We know.....who would want to actually move to N.J. but as you also know that's where daughter and Miss B reside..... We have been looking at homes for years now......some of you know why we haven't made the move yet and it's just too wacky for the rest of you to understand.... Let's just say it's a timing thing....... Anyhoo ..... everytime we visit Jersey we like to see what's on the market and we are very lucky to have a wonderful realtor who knows the situation and is perfectly fine with...

You probably have more things around the house to dress up your table then you think....This week I decided to do a take on Monet's Table in Giverney France.....If you have ever seen a picture of his home Claude had the original designer kitchen.....We had the pleasure of visiting the home while in France and we even had a picnic on the grounds before touring the home and gardens. When we got back home daughter bought me this lovely book.
