IT'S A DOG'S WORLD...................

I thought I would do a short blog today in honor of that wonderful Pedigree Dog food commercial that was aired during the Super Bowl yesterday......it just made you laugh out loud....and I wanted to share this wonderful cookie jar that I special ordered from the Milkbone company. The ceramic cookie jar comes with a picture of your pet featured on the box....This is my favorite picture of Boo and the daughter that was taken about 8 years ago. I ordered it for the Boss as a Christmas present and he really enjoyed it.....it fits a full box of milkbones. It sells for $27.95 plus shipping and takes about a month to get. The picture is actually just glued on but it's made very well. The only bad thing is that it cannot be ordered online. You have to send in 2 proofs of purchase and the original picture that they do send back with the finished jar....I think it makes a great gift for anyone that's a dog lover.....

Wow, that is a really cute cookie jar! Do you keep people cookies in it now ,or dog treats?

i love that cookie jar! i'll check out the commercial. i can't say that i was at all interested in the superbowl this year since the stupid panthers gave their game away to the cardinals and we were out of the running. i'm not the most gracious loser....
but the cookie jar is awesome.

Thanks for pointing out the commercial! When I was an advertising major in college, we lived for the Super Bowl so we could critique the ads. These days, I couldn't care less but that one was hilarious! Cute jar too!

I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

TIME OUT..........................

In the best interest of my left hand I find it necessary to take a short break from blogging.......that nasty staph infection has refused to go away and with no signs of it improving I need to stop using the computer......every time I go online to type the finger resembles W.C. Fields nose.....not a good thing.....I hope I can return soon and catch up with my Weekends in Paris....but in the meantime...remember.....Don't garden without gloves!! See you all soon.....
