Tonight was another fun blogger event here in Atlanta.....
A Classy Flea in Marietta
closed their doors to the public for a special night of shopping and eating!!
Two of the first to arrive....
Ofcourse Me and Joyce!
but we wandered over to the GW first and we missed out on the "goodie bags"
that they gave out to the first few ladies that arrived....Tonight's event was hosted by none other then
Susan....
Master Tablescaper from
Between Naps on the Porch
And here is Miss Susan....
Looking lovely as usual...she writes on her blog often about all the wonderful things
she finds at the Flea....
All the Atlanta Bloggers have come to know about the Classy Flea
Thanks to Susan....
There was all sorts of wonderful food....
ham and biscuits.....
and do you see those little cupcakes...
Last count I think I ate about 6 of them...
What?
They were small...
pretty cookies and there was quiche too!
After all....what's a fun night out with the ladies without quiche...

We all got to wander around the shop and see all the great stuff....
I just finished reading the biography of
"The Richest Girl in the World"
Doris Duke...
and she had two real live camels that she actually kept in her house...
I may have to go back and buy these...
Oh look.....it's Minnie Pearl!!
They have beautiful oak furniture....
pretty china pieces....
Little rooms filled with stuff....
Look!! State Souvenir Plates....My favorite!
even an actual window.
Gift Card as a Thank You for all the business she has sent their way....
They also gave her a $25.00 gift card to giveaway to one of her followers...
After eating my body weight in
5 mini quiche.....6 mini cupcakes....a raspberry cheesy pastry thing....
3 mini biscuits with ham...
and a hand full of cheddar cheese cubes....
Like that wasn't enough....
I went with the Boss and got....
and one half of a chicken parm sub....
trying to spare some calories....
What am I kidding??
I washed it all down with ice water....I passed on having a Coke...
The Mushroom just refurbished itself after all these years and as I was sitting in one of their
nice new booths....I noticed the new rest room sign....
You all know Joyce is Miss Flour Power...
She loves to bake and she made me this fabulous
Ina Garten lemon yogurt cake...
I had to try a piece....
and I'm here to report it was Wonderful!!
Thank you Joyce
and now you know why there is no picture of me on this post....
I will be back in print as soon as I lose the five pounds that I gained tonight!!

Now that's one fun Saturday night. My New Year's resolution was to clean out my cupboards. I just keep adding stuff instead. How great to get together with blogger friends.
Hi Sue!
Looks like a fun time at one of my favorite places. I'm going next weekend to look for my Mother's Day present LOL!

Hi Sue...what a fun night! I'm so glad you, Joyce and Cheryl were there! That was a night I won't soon forget! :-) Sooo much fun!
I've enjoyed my look around your blog site - had to visit after reading about it twice in 24 hours - from Peg at Bloomfield Farm and JoJo's Joys. It looks like you had a grand time!
Looks like a good time and wonderful food! I am sorry I had to miss it.
I love your descriptions of all the tiny food 'things' you consumed! And loved the photos .... waiting for a picture of YOU!
I didn't know Susan had a little shop! How lovely!
The Fancy Flea looks like such a fun place to look around! I would have eaten all that stuff too Sue;>)
I am still laughing at Minnie!! Too funny!
What a fun night you had..
Are you ever allowed back??
Thanks for stopping by my blog. My sister in law loves the Classy Flea, and since she moved from Marietta to Carrollton, we always go over there every time she comes to town. We were coming on Saturday night, but then ended up going that afternoon (and she went back after she dropped me off at home!) We went to dinner with friends and husbands, so we missed the special gathering....looks like it was fun!
Now that sounds like a lot of fun to me! The cake of course being the best part...or was it the company...or maybe the shopping..yup big fun!
Too bad I don't live in Atlanta, it looks like it was a great night!
How many bloggers were able to attend? Looks like there was enough food to feed an army!
You Georgia bloggers have all the fun, Sue! Fun photos ...fun event ...good friends ...good food!
What fun! Looks like there was a good turn out. I should have gone, turns out hubby thought it would be a good idea to take me to "Folks" for our "date" night... funny, as we were going in, he said, "only the best for my wife"..Ha ha... Ohmygosh! I felt AWFUL after that dinner!
Wow, what a day, and what fun!! All those great things at the flea market and all that great food. What more could a person want!
Hugs,
Donna

Your posts always make me smile! Sounds like you had a great time - eating, searching for treasures, eating, enjoying other bloggers company, eating, considering purchasing camels and state plates, eating...a VERY good time indeed!
