OCTOBER 8TH......HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAUGHTER.








33 years ago at 5:21 a.m. and beating the odds I gave birth to the love of my life.......The odds being beat was that it was my 25th. birthday and I had been born at 5:17 a.m. in the same hospital. We both went home to the same house at 378 Sycamore St............25 years apart. I think of her every day of my life and even though we can't spend this special day together I know she'll be spending it with her new little girl.............Happy Birthday daughter......I Love you and I miss you..........THE MOM.

Awww! Thanks for the special post MOM!! I love you and miss you too! I love the picture of you with Grandma! Who ever knew that the Mom was once so tiny (just like Sophie was!) And, in the picture you posted of you and I, I can finally see what so many people have told us over the years-- in that picture, your profile looks just like mine now adays... LOVE and Happy Birthday!!!

HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE.... CARS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE.... AND PEOPLE WALKING.... LIKE IF YOU MADE IT TO THE TOP SOMEONE WOULD GIVE YOU A MILLION DOLLARS.....OR IN MY CASE....  TOM SELLECK IN THE BUFF...... THANK GOODNESS FOR THE "HANDICAPABLE" TAG... I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

TIME OUT..........................

In the best interest of my left hand I find it necessary to take a short break from blogging.......that nasty staph infection has refused to go away and with no signs of it improving I need to stop using the computer......every time I go online to type the finger resembles W.C. Fields nose.....not a good thing.....I hope I can return soon and catch up with my Weekends in Paris....but in the meantime...remember.....Don't garden without gloves!! See you all soon.....
