HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!




10 Years ago today we welcomed into our lives a little, well not that little, furry ball of dog.....we named him "BOO"....not because he's white as a ghost but because it was Halloween and I knew someday his hijinks would scare me...............On another holiday note....38 years ago today while others were out Trick or Treating I was marrying the "Boss".......Yikes.

EVERYONE ALWAYS HEARS ABOUT LOS ANGELES' HORRIBLE TRAFFIC...... NOW I REALIZE THEY MEAN THE HIGHWAYS.....BUT.... I GIVE YOU DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES TRAFFIC... IN THE FIVE DAYS WE WERE IN CALIFORNIA WE EXPERIENCED ZERO TRAFFIC.... AND YES WE DID DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAYS.... I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT..... NOW YOU WANT TO TALK TRAFFIC....SEE ALL THOSE CARS.... THEY ARE PARKED...AND THEIR PASSENGERS WERE ALL OUT WALKING.... WHAT I WOULD GUESS TO BE A 2 MILE WALK.....UPHILL... TO THIS.... THE GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY...... UNBELIEVABLE..... HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE.... CARS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE.... AND PEOPLE WALKING.... LIKE IF YOU MADE IT TO THE TOP SOMEONE WOULD GIVE YOU A MILLION DOLLARS.....OR IN MY CASE....  TOM SELLECK IN THE BUFF...... THANK GOODNESS FOR THE "HANDICAPABLE" TAG... I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

TIME OUT..........................

In the best interest of my left hand I find it necessary to take a short break from blogging.......that nasty staph infection has refused to go away and with no signs of it improving I need to stop using the computer......every time I go online to type the finger resembles W.C. Fields nose.....not a good thing.....I hope I can return soon and catch up with my Weekends in Paris....but in the meantime...remember.....Don't garden without gloves!! See you all soon.....
