When you get an e-mail from a dear friend who sounds very unhappy and sad what do you do??? You've all been there.... Down here in Atlanta we gather the troops and drive where ever we have to in order to "perk up" said friend... we decided to call it a "Pity Party" beautiful weather and a great place to eat adds to the "friend therapy" that we all seem to need every now and then.  Getting 6 ladies to agree on a date and time with not much warning is not as hard as you would think.... I usually am the "travel agent" when us girls get together so four of us drove up to Athens Georgia where we met up with the other two gals.... We were ready and prepared to pour on the love and encouragement.... We had a great time in doing so.... And I think we may find this to be a yearly event... One of us always seems to have issues in our lives And what better way to perk up then to spend it with a bunch a wonderful women.... I love these guys..... ...

Do you all remember back to October of 2014 when my VW Beetle was returned to VW because of a horrible smell coming out of the vents... They took back the 2013 and gave me a brand new 2014 Beetle exactly like the 2013.... Certainly unheard of that a car dealer would actually take back a car and give you a new one.... Well.....it happened again... For those of you who aren't on Facebook this was my Christmas present from the Boss this year....yes I know we own a ton of cars... Eight to be exact but what can I say... we are car "people".... So when Cousin Caryn visited from NYC of course we were going to take it down to Atlanta to Scott's Flea Market... Here we are minutes before driving off.... This was right after the Boss gave Cousin Caryn a short lesson on how to get out of the car should something happen.... Why???????? The car is brand new.....2,000 miles on it to be exact Why would something happen to it that we would need to know how to get out in an emergenc...

I Got the e-mail that Joyce aka: Betty Crocker was jetting back to the ATL from Naples for a few days  and that could only mean one thing.... a little time between Naples and Chicago for us to get in to some trouble.... And as you all have seen in previous posts....our usual place of destruction is in Ikea.... Wherever we go and whatever we do of course Lunch is always involved....But this trip J suggested we take a cooking class... Hoping it would go better then the mosaic class in Florida we stuck with what we do best.... We cook.... So with a Pasta Workshop happening on the day we were getting together it was just a natural.... I mean two Italians from the North...who #1 really love to Cook....actually Betty prefers baking to my cooking.... And #2....really love to have fun.... Oh and we also love to have our pictures taken... it's a perfect combination! Perhaps not for you people...but it is for us.... note to self....When taking a selfie...make J stand up front ...
