I Have Never had a party before.....not in 61 years!! Oh I have had the ladies over for lunch but with limited space over at the old Homestead Six was about my maximum...and that's counting ME!! So when I moved on up to Here...... The first thing I wanted to do was have a party and of course who else would I invite But the Bloggers .....and the New Neighbors!! So this past Sunday I hosted my first official party and I think it went pretty well.... Come on inside and join us......All twenty one of us. When we first moved in the Boss wondered what we needed with a big dining room..... He doesn't wonder that any longer...... I tried to have as much seating as possible and this table was able to hold 7 of my guests.... Of course if anyone knows me you know that this is an "after party" Staged photo because I forgot to light the candles on Sunday.... Hey...I'm allowed I cooked straight for two days... I was bleary eyed......they looked lit to me!! I did find these ador...

Our weather In Georgia has been so beautiful lately I thought I would take you on a little tour of My New Neighborhood..... My day started at my kitchen sink where this little sign reminds me of my Dad who used to Say this atleast 10 times a day to my mother.... I think it's a "Man Thing" to tell a women when they know longer want to here her talk to "RELAX"..... I wandered out back to see how the Fireplace is coming..... One word.....Beautiful. Around front are flowers in bloom...... Six big pots on the front porch... Color on a porch table..... So with Nikon and a zoom lens in hand I went for a Walk.... Same County as the old homestead......But the scenery on the West Side is Way Prettier.... The leaves are falling early this year..... On the dead end street leading to our house is this little Gem...... Now I have to say that someone was a bit cheesy when they planted these trees.... They were going for that whole Tuscany look but fell short by a few dozen.......

I have been a reader of Country Living Magazine since 1976ish At one time having every issue they had ever published.... Until the Boss discovered them in a box in the garage and they became History.... So I was excited to see their Fair coming to Atlanta for the second year in a Row.... With beautiful Stone Mountain Park as the Venue the Fair runs from Friday through Sunday..... The weather was glorious and I asked "what happens if it rains?" Because this show goes on Rain or Shine.... This was the first thing we spotted at the first tent we stopped at.... Adorable and hand painted Yes......Price of $345.00 No..... Same booth.....Same Price. There were old Bears...... And small bears.... Pumpkins were everywhere!! Bittersweet.....My all time favorite fall thing.... I remember last fall bringing home a car load full of this from Martha's Vineyard... corn ofcourse.... One of my "cheap" purchases..... All of $3.00 for my Guest Bath Room.... Cash and Cari was in at...
