Sometimes all you need is Small and Simple.... Which is what we found at this Adorable Cottage in Sag Harbor New York called.... "The Forever Cottage" Never knowing what to expect when you rent something Online we were pleasantly Surprised when we opened this door. And Who doesn't love an old Fashioned Screen Door... A Fireplace is always a welcoming Sight... This tiny three room Cottage was the cutest thing I have ever seen..... Perfect for a short little getaway..... Simply Furnished..... But unmistakably Ikea!! Who says Ikea only does dorm rooms???? A perfect Kitchen.... if you enjoy cooking when you go to the Beach... Not overly done with a beach theme... Just some simple touches Here and There... Very comfy chairs in the Living Area... Original hard wood floors..... with great area rugs... A futon to curl up and read a book.... A place to hang your towels from the Beach.... A little welcome bottle of Wine... T...

We all do our best to raise our children the Best we know how and then hope for the Best.... We try to teach them to be responsible adults with good values and a kind heart.... Daughter called last night after getting a Thank You note in the mail from a stranger.... It seems she sold a sweater on E-Bay to a women in California.... Soon after she heard from the women saying she never got the package and in typical fashion these days the women thought daughter took her money and never sent the item... Daughter has been selling on E-Bay for years and has a satisfaction rating of 100%... Daughter had the tracking number from the post office but she went ahead and refunded the money to the lady and then put in a claim with the P.O. Enter the Thank you note... From another women in California... It seems the package was mis-delivered by the post office....Oh what a shock I can't believe the Post Office delivered a package to a wrong address.... The note said that the recipient had rece...

AS I APPROACH  MY 64TH BIRTHDAY I DECIDED IT WAS TIME I GET SOME MUCH NEEDED EXERCISE....NOT A BIG FAN OF WALKING I THOUGHT BIKE RIDING MIGHT BE JUST THE TICKET TO GET ME UP AND OUT OF THE HOUSE....LET ME BEGIN BY SAYING I HAVE NOT RIDDEN A BIKE SINCE 1958....WITH THAT BEING SAID IF YOU SEE ME ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD BE IT ON TARPLEY PLACE OR IN ONE OF THE CUL DE SACS OR ON TARPLEY ROAD PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE NOT RIDDEN A BIKE SINCE 1958..... PLEASE DON’T LAUGH....POINT OR STARE....I’M THE WOBBLY WOMEN ON THE BRIGHT ORANGE BIKE WITH THE CUTE BASKET....NO HELMET....I REFUSE TO WEAR A HELMET....MY HUSBAND MIGHT BE CLOSE BY.....OR NOT. I HAVE STILL NOT MASTERED WHERE MY FEET BELONG....THEY CAN’T SEEM TO STAY ON THOSE CRAZY PEDDLES........I CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GO AROUND CORNERS WITHOUT HAVING TO STOP......  I’M STILL WALKING THE BIKE UP HILLS....YES....WE DO HAVE HILLS....SMALL AS THEY ARE... IT’S A BITCH TRYING TO PEDDLE UP THEM WITH 64 YEAR OLD LE...

When we moved to the new house 3 years ago..... All the neighbors thought we brought along the Family Cat.... No one had ever seen her before we showed up..... But we didn't own a cat...In fact I am NOT a Cat Person.... Never have been...basically I have always hated cats since the early 60's when a Siamese jumped on my back while sitting in a doctors office...but that's another story...  Then one day looking out the back door this is what I saw... A cat curled up napping in a flower pot... A few days later I noticed the same cat pulling a snake out of one of our sea grass.... I decided on that day that I would start feeding this cat if it meant she was going to be a snake killer... Did I mention I also hate snakes.... She hung out high up on our fence.... watching us coming and going... I had to admit she was cute... So the feeding began.....at first once a day....  then twice a day.... and she kept coming back.... spooked if we dared to go near her....in fact w...

For the past almost 30 years..... If I'm missing on a Saturday morning this is where I Can be Found... My favorite Farmers Market... Burger's of Marietta Georgia... Getting out the the car this morning this was the first Thing I saw.... They were everywhere... Flowers of all descriptions.... Located on the industrial end of one of our Major Roads in the County....I am always surprised when I hear that anyone who has lived in Marietta for any length of time does not know about this place... year round....I go for our weekly Tomato Fix... I haven't mastered actually buying a plant and being successful growing my own.... So Burger's is my go to place for the Best Tomatoes in Town... All the veggies and fruits are located inside the building...so year round it feels like Summer.. I love Vidalia Onions... they are wonderful roasted with Parmesan cheese.. the corn this year is fabulous... And this is what I came for Today.... Why not try m...
