"The SantaMaker" Rose no longer blogs but that is how I met Rose many years ago. and I have been enjoying her annual Christmas Luncheon ever since... Every year it just gets better and Better.... Rose as many of you know hand makes all of her Santa's From sculpting the faces to the painting... To the making of the clothes... Every Santa is different and very Spectacular... Every inch is made by Rose's incredibly talented hands... So....sit back....there is a lot to absorb... This post is pictures...not many words... You will be amazed... step inside the mind... of The SantaMaker.... Now that's a Mantel.... Rose collects ironstone as well... Rose leaves nothing un-decorated!! We had a lovely lunch... I love Ina Garten for being able to make a party with just two people... Her and Jeffrey don't need to entertain a Crowd to Celebrate just about anything.... We are only a family of Four....... Just us 3 Adivari's plus Miss B... And we don't always get to spend special occasions with our girls.... I always prepare a dinner like I'm feeding forty.... and I always set a festive table....  We don't usually celebrate in this lovely room of our Home....It just sits looking pretty when you walk in our front door... But the Girls are coming for Thanksgiving this year so Turkey will be served at The Big Table!! This was the first room in our house that was completely decorated the second day after we moved in... All furniture is from Crate and Barrel... every piece of Milk Glass was unwrapped... pre-washed.....and displayed... in those first two days...
