I was so sorry to read that you'd lost your Boo - we lost our beloved Rosie in September as well. It as a hard month.
But....Happy Birthday! What a lot of birthdays you've collected for your special day. I hope it was a great one!

Well, I just signed up as a new follower because I realized that I was reading the whole blog thingy (past posts) with a sappy looking grin on my face. Well, except for the one about Boo. I am so sorry about that. It is NEVER easy to lose a pet-even when we know it is coming.

Anyway-I found you through Debbie over at Lakehouse. I have a new motto and that is I am only signing up for blogs I like and am willing to follow and comment on. So...guess what? You are IT!

I missed your last two posts because I thought you were visiting your girls. I am so sorry to read about Boo. As I type this, I have tears in my eyes and Buster the beast of the east is at my feet. I'm also sorry I missed wishing you a happy birthday. I hope you had a wonderful day.

I was sorry to hear about Boo too. If you're not an animal lover, you don't always appreciate how much they become and are an essential part of the family. Losing them leaves such a big hole that actually nothing can ever replace; I guess we just eventually learn to live with this space whilst remembering the happy memories. HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE.... CARS AS FAR AS THE EYE COULD SEE.... AND PEOPLE WALKING.... I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...

TIME OUT..........................

In the best interest of my left hand I find it necessary to take a short break from blogging.......that nasty staph infection has refused to go away and with no signs of it improving I need to stop using the computer......every time I go online to type the finger resembles W.C. Fields nose.....not a good thing.....I hope I can return soon and catch up with my Weekends in Paris....but in the meantime...remember.....Don't garden without gloves!! See you all soon.....
