Hi Sue, Happy New Year! We went away for a few days too but we took Maxie with us (he's really very spoiled)!

IKEA does have a great kids section - I love most of their stuff. Some people complain about the quality but I've been generally pleased considering the price.

We bought some meatballs and lingonberry and I made an IKEA dinner with some potatoes from our garden. I love all their desserts but I'm trying to stay away from the sweet stuff (and calories) for a while!

Hi Sue, hope you had a great Christmas and are happy back home with Boo! Yes, Tom Selleck was always my favorite actor....I might have jumped on his lap if he were sitting across the restaurant.

I SEE DEAD PEOPLE.........a Blog Pause.

Daughter got a call on Wednesday at 4:00 a.m. from our home town Police Force..... It seems the "Big Boss" called them after seeing women in his closet and a dead man hanging from his Ceiling Fan.... Only Problem.......He doesn't have any ceiling fans in his house... Daughter...... having to make the decision what to do with him.....since we were home in Georgia sound asleep....and unable to hear even a bomb go off... Had the police take him to the local hospital...... Now the BB is heading towards 90 in a few months.... He lives alone and still drives.... We have been trying to get him into an Assisted Living Home for the past three years... He refused to budge.... He refused to let anyone into the house.. We also tried to get him to give up his license....to no avail.... The sad part is we could not get anyone to assist us... His doctor told us years ago that he was a grown man and we couldn't tell him what to do.... So back to the ER this Wednesday he was checked ...
